HHK Partner Begins Term as President-Elect of Capital District Women’s Bar Association

Hinman, Howard and Kattell congratulates Linda Johnson on being inducted as the President-Elect of the Capital District Women’s Bar Association (CDWBA) on June 3, 2014.  Founded in 1978, the CDWBA is more than 350 members strong and welcomes private practitioners, judges, government attorneys, court officials, in-house counsel and law students to its ranks.  The mission of the CDWBA is to promote advancement in the Capital Region of women involved in or affected by the legal profession, to encourage the fair and impartial administration of justice, to provide public service and community education and to offer forums for members to foster legal, professional and personal relationships.

Linda Johnson is a member of the Litigation, Appellate Practice, Commercial Litigation and Construction Law practice groups.  Linda initially joined the firm in 2003.  She rejoined the firm in 2010 after serving as an appellate court attorney for the New York State Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Third Judicial Department from 2009-2010.  She focuses her practice on plaintiff’s personal injury, appeals, and construction and contract disputes.  Linda has extensive in-court trial, motion practice, negotiation, arbitration and mediation experience, and has been instrumental in the settlement of substantial civil cases.
